The Onyekachi Erengwa Foundation – Mission Statement

Together, we provide life-changing mental health support.

Who We Are

The Onyekachi Erengwa Foundation (“OEF”) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization dedicated to the memory of Onyekachi John-Ross Erengwa – our beloved son and brother. Onyekachi gained his wings on September 28, 2019, at the young age of 23.  He is missed every day.  OEF is dedicated to Onyekachi’s memory.

What We Do

OEF is dedicated to broadening the conversation about mental health and transforming the way mental health is discussed, addressed, and valued around the world.  OEF proactively provides people with the tools necessary to handle mental health challenges.  By encouraging and facilitating individuals, families, and communities to speak openly about mental health, we can reduce the stigma surrounding mental illness, encourage seeking help early on, and prevent self-destructive behavior.

OEF envisions a world in which all people are empowered to live healthy and full lives.

At OEF, we believe that “Life happens, but how we react is what matters.”  Therefore, we endeavor to empower people with tools to handle the ups and downs of life.
